New travel company helps empty nests redefine their lives through travel

Beyond The Nest, a new experiential travel company combining personal care and travel, will launch its first expedition to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, in July 2021.

The travel agency was originally created to help empty nesters redefine their lives after their children became more independent and ‘left the nest’. The retreats consist of seven to fourteen travelers at similar life stages and include eight weeks of pre and post trip mentoring and community building.

Retreats include five-star accommodations, wellness workshops, expert-led conferences, and local excursions to attractions and restaurants. Attendance is not required for all activities, so members do not have to feel pressured to participate in everything.

Beyond The Nest’s first trip will take place in the UNESCO World Heritage town of San Miguel de Allende, located in the mountainous region of Guanajuato. Known for its stunning architecture, natural environment, and cultural significance, Beyond The Nest attendees will enjoy Mexican cuisine, meditation and yoga sessions, guided stargazing and horseback riding activities, and seminars. remote work for those who are getting used to working remotely due to the pandemic.
